About Perchy
A co-host that does not waste your time.
Perchy is a small, independent product for people who stream. Running a stream is already a lot. The tools around it should lighten the load, not add a second job.
The name
Why a bird on a branch.
Perchy is named after the perch, the spot where a bird sits to watch the room. That is the whole job: sit next to your stream, watch chat, and speak up when it matters. Pip, our finch, takes the shift.
Pip is warm and a little dry, and never loud. You will see Pip when something is empty, when something went wrong, and when something worth celebrating happened. Not on every page.
How we build it
Four rules we keep coming back to.
Honest
We show real limits and real prices. If a platform cannot do something, the page says so and shows what Perchy does instead. A number on a screen was measured. It was never invented.
Calm
The dashboard does not shout. Motion explains something or it does not exist. The only light that blinks is the on-air lamp.
Fast
A change reaches your live bot in about a second. The Live Deck is made for one thumb, and a language or theme switch is instant.
Fair
The free plan is real. Proof is free for everyone. When a limit is reached, things pause. They are never deleted quietly.
Two languages
Arabic is not an afterthought.
Every screen has a real right to left layout, with icons that turn around and numbers that stay Western. Times show with AM and PM, in Riyadh time unless your device says otherwise.
The Arabic is written for streamers, not translated word by word, and the starter kits include one built for Gulf chats. A translation of chat between Arabic and English is part of the paid plans.
