Terms of service

The agreement between you and Perchy when you use it, written to be read. If something here is unclear, that is our fault, not yours.

Last updated October 8, 2026

This is a plain language draft and has not yet had a lawyer's review.

1What this is

Perchy is a service that connects to your Twitch, YouTube and Kick channels to read chat, answer commands, moderate, run giveaways and polls, show overlays, and keep the records you ask it to keep.

These terms are the agreement between you and Perchy when you use the service or this site. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Perchy.

2Your account

You need to be old enough to use the platforms you connect, and at least 13. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to your team.

Keep your sign in safe. If you think someone else has access to your account, change your sign in and tell us.

3Platforms and their rules

Perchy works through the official tools of Twitch, YouTube and Kick. Their rules still apply to you and your channel: Twitch's terms, YouTube's terms of service and Google's policies, and Kick's terms.

If a platform changes what it allows, or limits or blocks Perchy, some features may change or stop working. We will say so in the dashboard and on the platform pages. We are not responsible for a platform's decisions.

4How you may use Perchy

Please use Perchy the way it is meant to be used:

  • Follow the law and the rules of the platforms you connect.
  • Do not use Perchy to harass people, to spam, to get around a ban, or to collect data you are not allowed to collect.
  • Run giveaways lawfully. Proof checks the draw. It does not make a giveaway legal, and you are responsible for your rules, your prizes and the law where your entrants live.
  • Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or to get around plan limits.

5AI features

Some features use AI models, such as moderation hints, translation and recaps. They can be wrong. They suggest and you decide, so review what they flag before you act on it. AI features run on credits, and they stop when the credits run out or when we pause them because of a problem.

6Plans and payment

Plans belong to a channel workspace. Prices are in US dollars a month and are shown on the pricing page. Payments are handled by Polar.

If you upgrade, you pay the difference for the rest of the period and the new limits start at once. If you downgrade or cancel, it takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. Anything over the new limits is paused and kept for 90 days, with reminders, before it can be removed.

We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you before a change reaches you.

7Your content

What you put into Perchy, such as commands, timers, overlays, notes and settings, stays yours. You allow us to store and process it so the service can work. We do not claim ownership of your channel or of your viewers' messages.

8Availability

We aim to keep Perchy working, and the status page shows how it is going. We cannot promise it will never be down, and platforms or other providers outside our control can interrupt it. The Live Deck needs an internet connection.

9Ending things

You can stop using Perchy and delete your account at any time from Settings.

We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or the rules of a platform, or put other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why.

10Liability

Perchy is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability for anything related to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem.

Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

11Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the dashboard or by email before it applies. Using Perchy after that means you accept the change.
